Americans spend billions — yes, billions — on over the counter and prescription medications, all in search of a good night’s sleep.
Sleepless and TiredI recently had a friend come to stay with us. On the way home from the airport, we stopped at a store so he could buy a $140 memory foam mattress topper to help him sleep well while he was here.
He also had over the counter and prescription pills to take each night. He still didn’t sleep that well.
In the car, we talked about all the problems he has because he doesn’t sleep well. It affects every area of his life, not just during his tossing-and-turning nighttime hours. Things like:

For years I have been making DVD in the self help field. I remember doing a trade show in Austin, Texas. A lady I didn’t know came up to me with tears in her eyes.
