I’ve been working with Subliminal Messages for years, in the wildly successful subliminal dvd series, Subliminal Manifestation, and in many other products including the Zero Limits DVD, the Give to Live DVD, and in my Advanced Ho’oponopono Subliminal Clearing DVDs.

Because of my experience, lots of people ask me the question: do subliminal messages work?

Short answer: Yes, they do.

Long answer: Science seems to point that visual subliminals work while auditory subliminals, also called paraliminals do not.

Your conscious mind can pick up 7 +/- 2 bits of information, but your subconscious and unconscious mind can pick up quite a bit more. Your unconscious mind is also where you form your beliefs and where your unconscious predispositions arise.

The work I do with ho’oponopono, advanced ho’oponopono, neuro-linguistic programming, and hypnosis aims works with the unconscious mind. The goal is to “clear the pipes” with other individuals in your life, and clear and nurture the most important relationship in your world: that with your inner child.

I have also studied subliminal messages since I was a kid. I know that subliminals work. Though subliminal advertising has been banned, a quick search of videos on YouTube or across the internet will show you many examples of subliminals at work in advertising.

If you are consuming mass media, your unconscious mind is consistently barraged with subliminal messages. These messages do make you feel, act, and behave differently. I’ve collected an assortment of articles about subliminal messages and the science behind them below.

What Subliminals Do You Use?

In the subliminal DVDs I have created, I have selected messages based on my 20 years as a therapist working with neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis to communicate directly to the unconscious mind, bypassing the conscious mind’s thought processes that may object to such suggestions. Depending on the content of the program, the messages are tailored to issue at hand. For example, in the Fear-Less subliminal DVD, the messages are intended to alleviate and dissipate fear.

Like any tool, subliminal messages can be used for both healing and growth as well as manipulation and unconscious control. The key is to remain in control of your own media consumption,
