This weekend, I took the kids and the dog up the mountain to cool off some. It’s been hot here in Mount Shasta, but it’s cooler on the mountain. We drove up as far as we could go, to a place called Bunny Flat, which is at 7,000 feet.

You can see the kids and the dog, with the top of Mount Shasta in the picture here. As we were walking, my son said, “But I want to go ON THE MOUNTAIN.”

I said, “We ARE on the mountain. Remember how you could look down at the town back there?”

I had to laugh. How many times do we all think that we’re not on the mountain… because we can see “the mountain” up there. But in comparison to where we were, we’re definitely on the mountain. I guess it depends on where you think the mountain starts, or what you think the mountain is.

What is your mountain?
Compare that to your goals. You might think that “wealth” or “happiness” is that mountain you see up there. The measure of being on the mountain is dependent on looking only one direction. But if you look the other way, maybe it looks like you’re already there.

Another thing I asked my son to think about… where does the mountain begin versus the surrounding territory?

Where does “wealth” begin? Where does “happiness” begin?

The answer is the same – just like being “up on the mountain” is a relative and progressive thing, so are many other life experiences. It’s not an either/or, on/off, 0/1, type of measurement.

The Source of Your Discontent
The idea that either you’re wealthy or you’re not or that you’re happy or you’re not is something that has been programmed into us by marketers. They want you to look one way, to keep focusing on the fact that the mountain appears to be someplace that you are not. They don’t want you to look at the entire 360-degree panorama. They don’t want you to see the ground under your feet.

This limited vantage point keeps you focused on a feeling of lack, a feeling of not being or having enough. That void, that feeling of lack is where you are convinced and persuaded, maybe even brainwashed or hypnotized, into an emotion where you decided to trade something you have (money) in the hopes of having the illusion of being on top of the mountain (having wealth, health, thinness, or whatever you think you don’t have but need in order to be happy).

This is one of the reasons I developed the Subliminal Clearing: Z Plus Advanced Ho’oponopono product. In it, I talk about these types of limited worldviews and how it feeds into a belief system where we are not clear, not connected to the Divine.

When you’re clear and connected, you’re seeing through a wider lens, and inspiration comes from places you’d never be able to see otherwise. Subliminal Clearing gives you a greater depth of understanding your own mind, how belief systems work, and how you may be only seeing one vantage point.

Imagine how much freer you would feel if you could see yourself as already on top of the mountain, already wealthy, already happy. If you could turn around and look at where you were before as opposed to where are you haven’t been, and still look up at the beautiful mountain and appreciate it for what it is?

Do it Now
You don’t need the DVD program in order to do this with something today. You can relax and take a wider look around yourself. What do you think you want that seems like an either/or situation? Think about where you hear, “If only…” in your head, a situation where you might envy someone else’s possessions or life experiences.

Can you look around and see a situation where you might already be on the mountain?

We all have different summits. For some people, climbing to the summit of Mount Shasta is a goal. They want to reach the top for a variety of reasons. Some people want to reach it to say they got there, for the experience, in order to see the world from atop one of our highest peaks.

But no one STAYS at the summit of Mount Shasta. You can go there, you can experience it, you can take a picture to remind you. But we’re all on our way somewhere else.

Even if you have a goal of having $30 million dollars and that’s your own personal mountain summit, and you work hard and stay focused, and climb that mountain, you may achieve it. But you can’t stay there.

The journey never ends.

Remember that perspective when you set a new goal for yourself. You might think that reaching a particular summit will solve all of your problems, and that that’s the end-goal where you will finally allow yourself to be happy. What you might not realize is that reaching the summit may create other goals, other problems, other situations that you cannot fathom from where you are.

It doesn’t mean you give up the goal. It does mean, however, that if you find yourself idealizing a goal as solving all of your problems, you’re not seeing the full panorama of experience. You’re looking, perhaps under influence, at only one slice of the view.

Keep expanding your perspective and learning more about how you perceive your world. It will allow you to select experiences that will maximize your happiness, refine your goals, actualize your true goals. The bigger the goal, the higher the mountain, the greater the effort to achieve its summit. You’ll want to understand what makes you choose your goals and how to work towards them so you can maximize your effort and enjoy the journey.

One of the coolest things about living in Mount Shasta is the city park just north of town. There you can find the headwaters of the Sacramento River… a spring from which extremely cold, pure, delicious water gushes from the ground, thus beginning a rather substantial river.

People come from all over to see the spring, to dip their water bottles into the frigid water and taste the cool water right from the ground. The first time I drank the water from the spring, I felt a lightness and cleanness of energy that I haven’t felt any other way. I guess you could liken it to a runner’s high, but without exertion and with a lightness and cleanness that.

We bring our 5-gallon water bottles to the spring and fill up on the water and enjoy it at home. It’s not quite the same once it’s been sitting in a water bottle for a while, but it’s still better than anything else I’ve tasted elsewhere. I recommend if you’re ever in Shasta, to go up to the spring and taste the water yourself… and test how it makes you feel.

Here’s a video someone else posted to YouTube of a girl filling up a water bottle at the spring.

Meditating in front of the springs is also a joyous and opening experience. The sound of rushing water and birds chirping in the trees, children playing in the park and along the creek… there is a peaceful playfulness that happens here. I imagine it is the same type of peaceful playfulness that happens as the water dances over the rocks.

Oddly, Interstate 5 runs directly to the west, and a train line to the north, so that peaceful playfulness can be interrupted by the sounds of the machines of industry turning away. But the peaceful playfulness is overpowering here… and you can’t help but be reminded of Spirit as the overwhelming source of All That Is. That feeling comes through and overwhelms the energies that may normally disrupt your peacefulness in any other setting.

Is it any wonder why we love to call this place home? The natural abundance surrounds us here. There is no lack in our experience here… and if there seems to be a challenge, it ends up being for our own Highest Good.

One day, a man with about 20 5-gallon bottles came and started to fill them at the spring. I imagined that he was filling them to take them and sell them somewhere, and I wondered about that. It brought up a feeling of impropriety, a feeling that was clearly representative of data I had about people taking things that are free for us all to enjoy and selling them.

I laughed pretty quickly after that. I imagined this man taking 1,000 5-gallon bottles and selling them to people, people who couldn’t perhaps get to the spring themselves to fill up their own bottles.

I laughed because… no matter how many bottles of water he took from the spring, the spring kept giving, and giving and giving… the water kept coming. It came at a rate that wasn’t even affected by the spring water bottling plant that was about a mile away. Of course, there is probably a point if there were 1,000 bottling plants that the spring wouldn’t give any more, but as it stands right now, that spring keeps providing the best tasting, energized water no matter how many people take from it.

I wondered where else I experienced this amazing abundance… and the wheels began to spin in my mind about other ways that Spirit shows me how I live an abundant world.

Somewhere in your life, there is a spring of energy that is available to you. It might not be Mount Shasta water, but perhaps it is something else. Maybe you live in a city surrounded by an abundance of like-minded people. Maybe you live near the ocean and its abundant calming waves.

What in your life makes you feel the universal abundance available to us all? What feelings come up for you when you allow yourself to take in the experience of that abundance? When you have feelings of lack, or maybe a wondering about there being “enough,” be thankful for finding a space that allows those feelings to come up… and begin focusing on the areas where you have more than enough.

Your consciousness expands where you put your attention. Attention is all there is. Where can you put your attention today to change your experience for tomorrow?

Please share what comes up for you personally… those who read your comment may need the very inspiration Spirit shares with you.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Group Ho’oponopono Experiment on the Gulf of Mexico this weekend. It’s amazing what your activity inspired in others. We’ll be doing more Group Ho’oponopono Experiments going forward… look for an announcement of topic #2 later this week. (email your suggestions for future topics to kathy at hypnotici dot com)

Wealth is a lot more than just having a bank account with a large balance. In fact, wealth cannot have once specific meaning. I think wealth has to have a multitude of meanings. It is the idea of what we have on the external, yes. But what does it represent WITHIN you? What we have internally and how we label and define it lead to our wealth.

I have a beautiful daughter, Claire. She is an amazing little girl who brings abundance, love, and laughter into my life on a daily basis. From the time I see her in the morning until the moment I kiss her goodnight, my life is filled with love I never knew before.

When Kathy was pregnant with Claire, I knew my life was going to change in a big way. Kathy said that she felt I wasn’t really on board with her during the pregnancy, and that did cause some stress for her. I tried to explain how my being on board was working hard and ensuring that we had finances to allow me to spend more time with the baby after she was born. I know a lot of fathers who probably understand what I was feeling – that shift in responsibility looming overhead.

But there was another thing looming, too, and it was something more critical. It was more than securing our future financially by working hard. And what I found out by pursuing this wealth secured my future in other ways.

I knew that being a father was going to give me a wealth of emotion. And when it gets right down to it, that’s what weath really is. Joy, love, peace, happiness, understanding – all that we consider wealth to be comes from an emotional viewpoint.

When you get a new car that you have been dreaming of for years and you sit in it for the first time, you experience an emotion.

But this little girl, my daughter Claire, was going to change my experience. I knew before she was born that if I wanted to experience the wealth of emotion she afforded me, I had to do something to open up, expand my emotional playing field. I knew I had to do this, and I wanted to. I wanted to give my child more than what I had, but in order to do so, I had to give myself more than I was allowing myself.

I started looking for places in my life where I had wealth to mine. One area was my voice. People had told me for years that I had a great voice. One of my primary areas of generating wealth and giving to others was with my voice. I loved to sing, but often wouldn’t do it. When I sang, I would become very emotional. It got to the point where I wouldn’t sing because the emotions that came through me were more than I could handle.

It was WEALTH that I couldn’t handle. When Kathy became pregnant, I started taking singing lessons. First, I wanted to improve my singing voice. But more importantly, I wanted to open myself up to allow myself to feel the emotions coming through me. I knew if I was blocking the emotions coming through my voice, I was blocking myself in other areas as well. And with Claire on the way, I couldn’t afford to live with those blocks any longer.

I know that when I feel that opening in my chest that is more love, it is extraordinarily beautiful. Something flows through there. From this vantage point, I can’t believe I blocked that for myself for so long. But from here, I am grateful I took the risk to do something uncomfortable because I now have more love to give my daughter.

And I have more love to give my wife.

And myself.

Now, when I sit and play with my daughter, I often sing to her. She loves it. She lights up and even sings along with me.

Now that I have opened that part of myself and allowed what was there to flow, I can share it without having to sing to connect with that wealth within me.

Could you put a price tag on that? Could you sell it?

You can’t.

But that’s what wealth is.

What area of your life do you block wealth? Where is your biggest gift, the place where you feel emotion? Is there something you can do today to begin the sometimes uncomfortable task of allowing that wealth to come forward?

How will your life change by taking that step?

Many people have asked me how the Rolls Royce Mastermind with Joe Vitale came to be, and if I had any part in it.

They are surprised when I tell them the story. Maybe you will be, too.

It all started at Miracles Weekend Seminar in San Diego, California. This event almost didn’t happen until my wife, Kathy, Joe’s assistant Suzanne, and I stepped in to rescue it.

We had turned lemon into lemonade and had a successful seminar. Joe was feeling good, relaxed, and relieved.

He had gone to dinner the night before with John Assaraf. On the way to dinner, he saw a car dealership with two Bugatti Veyron sports cars. They were valued at $1.8 million (at the time ). When Joe told me about the cars, he was more excited about them than the dinner and meeting with John Assaraf, and he wanted to go see the cars again.

Joe and Nerissa had hired a limo and invited me to go sightseeing around San Diego, and back to the car dealership. So we drove along the coast to the Symbolic Car dealership.

When we arrived, we immediately went to look at the Bugattis, but they weren’t ready for viewing. So, we looked at other cars including many rare race cars in their private museum. These cars were amazing and worth millions. If you’re ever in San Diego, I recommend a trip to their dealership.

They also had Rolls Royce cars. Joe got into the new convertible Rolls Royce. When he got in, both Nerissa and I said he looked fantastic in the car, but we agreed that he looked too much like a mafia guy with his sunglasses in the it. So he got out of that car and into the sedan.

That was it. You could tell it was Joe’s car.

We took the car for a ride, it was amazingly smooth. Joe asked how I liked it, and I said it was like sitting on my couch driving down the highway.

Even Nerissa who is very green and earth conscious was initially concerned with the low gas mileage. But when she got into the back seat, a nice happy smile came over her face. She said she thought she could live with the low gas mileage. It was nice to see Nerissa so happy.

Joe was unsure. So we went back to the dealership to see the 1.8 million dollar Bugattis. We pulled the Rolls up next to the Bugatti building and went in to start one of the cars.

Joe started the Bugatti and sat in the driver’s seat. He was shaking like a leaf when he got out. The pistons sounded like a sledgehammer hitting a railroad tie. It was too much power for Joe to handle. We had a good laugh at how nervous he was. I on the other hand got excited as I had worked on and around Nascar engines. I was ready to drive!

We were excited about the Rolls Royce, but Joe wasn’t convinced.

We went back to the hotel and walked to a nice restaurant on the beach. We ate and then walked off some food along the beach while talking about the Rolls Royce.

Joe called me in the morning and said that Bill was coming to get us in the Rolls Royce. We were going to ride and shop for the day to get Joe used to the car. When Bill came to pick us up, we were smiling seeing such a beautiful car coming to get us. We drove around, shopped, and went back to the dealership.

At one point, we were looking into the back of the car. Joe was nervous about spending so much money on this car, even though he loved it. As he looked into the back seat from the door, he said, “It is almost big enough to hold a table and meeting.”

Like a bolt out of the blue, it hit me. I said, “Joe, how about a mastermind meeting?”

Joe eyes widened.

Then I said, “How about a rolling Mastermind?” I had told Joe in the past and on his testimonial page that I always wanted to do a car mastermind. So I said, “How about a Rolls Royce mastermind?”

He lit up, but still was not convinced.

Our salesman, Bill, had some things to do and told us to go for another spin in the car, so we did. Then it came to me. I remember Joe telling me something about how he had recruited for Rajneesh Majaraj (Osho) in Houston for 7 years and had ran a center for him there as well. While this guru was not popular in the United States because of his tactics, I remembered the reverence Joe had for Rajneesh. I appealed to that side of Joe, because I knew if he listened to me he would have a much needed source of income for both him and myself.

I asked him to remember how many Rolls Royces Rajneesh had (over 90). I said, “And here is one of his disciples now driving one, and it could be his.”

I reassured Joe that i would be there for him to start the masterminds and get it going.

Joe has some issues about talking to folks he doesn’t know. I reassured him that I was good at this and could teach him how to coach people.

I have flashbacks to 2004 when I first told Joe about ho’oponopono (he rejected the idea at the time; it later became Zero Limits). That weekend, I helped him set up his booth at the National Guild of Hypnotists. Thanks to my 15 years of experience doing trade shows, we completely sell out of products. At one point during the weekend, Joe had to speak. He asked me to help set up his Power Point presentation and make sure the stage was OK.

Attendees were filing into the room, and I noticed Joe was sweating bullets on top of his head. I got him a towel, and I noticed he was shaking nervously. I asked if he was alright. He said, “No.” He hated public speaking. I asked him if I could do a few exercises to help him calm down. I did the exercises, and he calmed enough, but not completely. I talked to him some more and he asked me if I would introduce him. I told him I would and that I would sit right up front and smile and support him.

He did great and he thanked me and said he had to speak again tomorrow and would I do it all again then. The whole weekend went so well, he asked if I would come again next year and help him again. I agreed, and it went even better. Sales were great, we did more coaching, and that is when he did finally listen to me about ho’oponopono. It wasn’t long before Zero Limits came to be.

Joe and I became good friends after that. I helped coach Joe to the point of where he can get up in front of a group and speak for two hours without notes. Joe always had the information, but he was afraid to speak the information with authority. This is what I am good at doing.

Back at the dealership, Joe asked me if it would be okay to have others ride along on the rolling masterminds. I said, “Joe, it’s your car.”

We went in, and Joe leased the Rolls Royce… leased it so he could have a better write off.

Over a year later, I’ve done 12 masterminds with Joe. It is now his thriving business.

I knew Joe was ready to take it over by himself. When I was driving, he would proudly explain to others how he came up with the idea all by himself. At first I was a bit upset, but I knew that is Joe’s way of reclaiming his power.

I knew he was telling me he was ready to try doing masterminds more by himself with others riding along. And I guess I don’t blame him. He was paying me half of the profits, and I am sure he could pay others less. After all, it is business, right?

So off goes Joe in the Rolls Royce, masterminding on his own with some new folks! While I am not sure of the quality of what others bring to the mastermind, they seem to be working out. I do know that Joe is now capable enough to do it all by himself. Joe learns well… and, as he puts it, humorously… just sitting with him in the Rolls Royce and for dinner is worth more even if he doesn’t coach or give product ideas.

And I am moving into doing my own brand of coaching, which is different. Joe wanted to do more product development coaching, as he got pretty good at it. I wanted to do the deeper work with clearing others of what stopped them from attaining their goals.

So maybe we will work together again. He has told me that, several times, he was wishing I would have shown up when he had brought others instead of me. When I wasn’t there, he had to work harder. He didn’t realize how easy I made it until another tried to fill my shoes. But hey, that is part of how you grow. And I thank him for the compliment.

Go look at the website and see the testimonials with me in them. There are less of them since I have left, but there is enough still there to give you an idea of my contribution. (Go here to see a video testimonial from Nancy Philpott after her experience with me.)

There it is! The Rolls Royce Mastermind story! And there is a lot more coming.

In the future, I will talk more about other successful products I helped Joe develop. I will also talk about the Russia trip, and many more interesting things. Stay tuned!

One of the reasons I am doing this is because Joe said I didn’t toot my own horn enough. He said I should do it more. Now that I am, let’s hope he contributes some of his positive insights!

Thanks, Joe, for a wonderful time on the Rolls Royce Masterminds! Good luck in the future.

If you are interested in a very productive and life changing Mastermind with me, let me know. It won’t be a fancy meal or a drive in a Rolls Royce, but you will walk away with much more than I could have given before. My focus will be completely on you, your issues – whether business, personal, financial, or spiritual. I also charge a lot less because you don’t have to pay for the glitz… but you get the same results.

First off there is a big difference between real victims and victims who you might say have attracted their ill will.

The person who gets blown up in a mosque or church while praying… they did not attract that. I’m sorry.

A buddy of mine was a crack head many years ago. He decided to go to the wrong side of town looking for a fix with a pocket full of cash. He got his head smashed in with a brick and nearly died. He surely didn’t DESERVE that, but he is certainly more responsible for what happened to him than the woman praying who was blown to smithereens.

I am not “playing God” passing judgment here. Look, at one level, we are all One and part of All That Is or God, the Universe, whatever label fits for you. But at another level, we are all separate, too. I leave the judgment to God, I leave the knowingness to God, but here at this level of separateness, where I am me and you are you, there are things that are apparent.

And if you refuse to believe that I am me and you are you, maybe I could just come live in your house for a while and eat your food and use your belongings however I want? It’s okay, right? Because I am you, and you are me, so it doesn’t really matter, right?

Look. We as humans can only handle about 7 bits of information at one time. Our surroundings, however, have MILLIONS of bits of information. Our universe? Infinite. How can you say with that minuscule awareness that we are All One? How can you really KNOW that? You would have to sift through all of the data in the UNIVERSE to know for sure. That is impossible from our limited human perspective. So we learn to trust based on the data we do have.

A few weeks ago, I was speaking with an expert in how the human mind works. He said how he recently did some mind expansion exercises with someone. That person got as close to enlightenment as this expert has ever seen. The person got extremely sensitive… all of their senses were working at high power to the point of extreme sensitivity. A funny thing happened. this person felt so good about the experience they were having, they fully believed that if they jumped from a building, they would be able to fly or at least glide safely to the ground.

My friend said that if he had agreed or encouraged him, the person would have tried doing so.

Maybe that situation WOULD have ended up miraculously. But as you and I know, the evidence we can see in this shared reality says otherwise. My friend wisely became his conscience and convinced him otherwise.

Karl Marx said that religion is the opiate of the people. He was right in a sense. Now, I am about as far from a communist as a person can be, but the man had a point. What does an opiate do? It makes you feel no pain. And when we feel no pain, we believe we can fly. Because without the teacher of pain, we believe in our mind that we can do things we cannot and we are subject to get hurt.

Kathy had been teaching Claire the concept of “hot” by explaining what things in the house were “hot,” like a cup of coffee, the stove, a pot of steaming pasta, the hot water faucet. Claire understood that certain things were “hot.” She could even point to those things and say, “Ha!” But it wasn’t until she felt the pain of putting her hand in Kathy’s cup of coffee that she really understood what hot meant. She needed to viscerally feel the pain in her body in order to fully understand what the concept of “hot” meant.

Without the consequence of pain, we try to bring into physical experience what works in our imagination. Sometimes the human body cannot handle the consequences.

I think of this lady, who was a little high on the “we are all one” cloud. She thought she could feed the cuddly looking sleeping bear that didn’t look harmful at all. She felt that, but it wasn’t long before she was overridden by the reality of severe pain.

My point is that we don’t really know the truth. Without experience, our pea-sized awareness or even an expanded awareness doesn’t know much at all. I am not saying that there cannot be miracles from higher states of consciousness. What I am saying is it might be safer to take the stairs than glide down to the ground, leave the bear alone, keep your hand out of the hot cup of coffee!

The idea that I want you to understand, the point that was so important in my last post: the guru makes you feel so good in that awareness of ‘all is one’, what are you doing or buying that you might not when you don’t feel so good?

We can play in the realm and have adventures in consciousness. We can experiment and grow in the spiritual realm. But for God’s sake, please don’t leave your conscious mind behind. Or at least bring others in who will care about you.

Go get the tests done on the lump in your chest instead of believing some magic pill cured it. Maybe it did, but double check and use the knowledge of science and measurement in physical reality to be sure.

As far as the limits of attraction, let me say one word: “Hitler.” Yes. Sorry I am invoking Godwin’s law here.

Now use your critical thinking here. Answer me these questions honestly, please.

Do you really think the poor little 7 year old girl attracted a rapist and killer? That her attraction was so powerful that this poor guy was pulled into her vortex and was made to commit this heinous crime against her? Come on, now. If you really believe it is a law of attraction, if you really believe and she attracted it and created her own reality, then the victim must be the poor guy who did that. (Really?!)

Do you really believe the German people in the 1930′s fell prey to those terrible Jews who, through the “Law of Attraction,” attracted the poor Germans to elect Hitler, give him free rein of power, and put to death between 11-17 million people, 6 million of whom were Jews?

Or maybe it was a “mutual pact of attraction?”

Be careful now. This is an incredibly slippery slope… answer these questions honestly.

If you really believe this, I am going to tell you something you will not want to hear.

In fact, I’ll bet money you cannot hear.

But that is only for those that believe… and hopefully I don’t get any of those responses. I hope we are all on the same page as this point.

Yeah right. LOL

I think we’ve had overkill in the self-help movement with the Law of Attraction. It’s almost as bad as the Balloon Boy.

Enough already!

It seems that everyone has a LOA box, and they’re all trying to fit something into it.

The thing is, the box isn’t very big. It may be shiny and pretty and hold a lot of promise, but it is extremely limited. Just by adhering to the Law of Attraction without looking beyond its borders, these proponents are limiting themselves.

Just think how hard people work to figure out: “How does this fit in with the LOA?” People ask this question all the time, and I hear them work hard to come up with solutions. They try to figure out how someone wealthy came into good fortune by attracting it, or why someone whose house burned down attracted that experience. And they usually end up to be pretty corny and simplistic solutions.

Why?

Because they want to believe so much that if they just do something in the perfect way, the magic will open up and they will have discovered how the law becomes a law. They’re willing to believe anything else that they’re told or that they logic-out for themselves just so they can believe in the promise of a shiny little box.

Wait …so there is something I have to do to make the law a law? Or do I have to believe something for it to go into action?

This scares me a bit. I know the brain is hardwired to protect us and we are 4 times more likely to sort by what is wrong than what is right with our world. We are wired that way because of big hairy creatures that were once on the prowl for us. So we had to look at everything as a possible enemy to be killed before being killed ourselves.

Now I know from doing so much work with people over the years that it may not be 4 times as much but it is close as an average….and might be 10 to 20 times more with some folks.

I am glad this law doesn’t bop me on the head with all of the negative thoughts I run in a day.

Some say it is 60,000 thoughts per day per person on average…so that means 48,000 are protective and mostly negative. (No wonder people have such a hard time trusting their inner voice!)

There must be an “Idiot Law” that works hard to protect me against the Law of Attraction.

Really, if you don’t believe me… get a pen and a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle. Put all your positive emotions on one side and negative on another. And you will see how many more words we have for negative emotions that positive.

And how many more times do you get as intensely happy as you have ever been intensely upset?

The LOA is more like a Proclivity of Attraction
Now I do believe there are many things you can do and think that attracts a PROCLIVITY to attract more good things in your life.

I have proven to myself over and over again…but a law…nope.

Sorry. When I throw a stone over a bridge into the water it always hits the water and always makes ripples and some kind of a splash – time after time – and over 49 years it still works perfectly every time. I can count on it… in time and action… now that is a law.

Even if it was a law, it could not be the ONLY law. Certain laws can be transcended to higher laws… a great example a wonderful Preacher taught me years ago was the difference between the law of gravity, and the laws of aerodynamics, momentum and inertia.

When we add momentum and inertia in context to areodynamics, we overrule gravity. You should be thankful for this during your next flight! As long as we continue to use all three laws together, gravity is superseded. Of course, take one part out and gravity does play a role again instantly.

So I look at my laptop and want it to levitate by using the LOA. I feel it. I believe it. I know it and 99.99999999….% of the time it sits right there with gravity doing its thing.

I might get upset that the LOA doesn’t work, so I add momentum and inertia and throw the laptop across the room. Anyone taking a snapshot of it in flight would swear I achieved my goal as they see it momentarily levitating without knowing it was traveling from left to right instead of up and down.

But sure enough, when momentum and inertia wane, aerodynamics gives way to gravity as the law of impact takes final precedent when pieces of laptop begin to levitate at high speed in different directions.

And in all the time it took for my experiment and to get the laptop fixed, I could have opened the laptop and created something.

As my friend Jerry Stocking says, “Why try and use energy to levitate this laptop with your mind when you can just go over and lift it up with your hand?”

A lot of people misuse the LOA. They think it is the end-all and be-all without considering other Laws that are higher…and more useful to you.

Examples are the Law of Change and the Law of Uncertainty. I promise if you begin to learn how to use these laws, you will have an infinitely sized box to put every learning into. And your life will be much richer and happier than you could ever extract from the LOA. A by-product is usually getting more than you ever expected…. and a lot less at the very same time.

I have been disillusioned recently with those who purport to be experts in the LOA or create products about the LOA. I’ve been disillusioned for a long time with people that I know privately think that the LOA is a bunch of “woo-woo nonsense,” but put out products to sell to people who believe in the LOA.

I have seen the dark side of LOA, and the bright and hopeful side from people who earnestly try to create a better life for themselves. And I have to tell you I don’t think LOA in and of itself has anything to do with money and success.

I have observed other things that are much more important to success. Stay tuned for more on this.

You’re Still Creating Your Own Reality
The big question is… who are YOU? Where do you stop and All That Is begins? You’re part of a giant whole, a drop in an ocean of consciousness. But none of us, as much as we try, really understands how we’re separate, what makes us that one drop. Does a drop of water cause it to rain? Does the droplet in the ocean create the wave?

But the consciousness in the water droplet experiences the wave, and the drop of water experiences crashing to the ground in a thunderstorm.

A group of individuals might experience a natural disaster together – a wave. One person might be exempted in a miraculous way, just in the same way a drop of water might shoot out from the wave and crash to the ocean again in a different way than the wave itself.

Of course, we can see the wave outside of ourselves differently than the water droplets can see the wave they’re soaking in. And it’s very difficult to see all of the rules of consciousness operating upon us.

It is limiting for one phenomenon like this to be labeled a law. It is next to impossible for this phenomenon to be the end-all, be-all of laws operating in our conscious reality.

It’s time to explore consciousness and conscious creation beyond the “Law” of Attraction. To find out who YOU really are, what consciousness is, and how to co-create a life beyond what you thought possible.

I recently received an email from someone, who asked me some rather pointed questions on how to change his life. Not knowing many particulars about this man, I figured answering some of his general questions via email would also be helpful for you, too.

He, like many people, is working a full time job, but he feels within that is calling him to become an entrepreneur and do his own thing. His primary keyword was “freedom.” He had a number of questions about how to get there, and how Neuro-Linguistic Programming can help him.

First, other than knowing that his current job is not meeting his needs, I am not really sure what freedom means to him.

For some people, freedom does mean having a job. It means you don’t have to do everything an entrepreneur does (i.e., an entrepreneur needs to have an “MBA in life” and understand everything from accounting, cash flow, sales, marketing, project management, human resources and effective outsourcing, etc.) Being an entrepreneur does not necessarily mean success for everyone. I know many people who want to focus on one aspect of their talents, for example a graphic artist who only wants to design and the thought of invoicing someone for their work and doing sole proprietorship taxes is overwhelming.

What does freedom really mean to YOU?

Does it mean that you don’t have to do what other people say? Because if you’re selling your time to clients, you still have to do what they say. And if you’re selling products to the consumer, you still have to meet consumer demand. And if you’re looking to really become successful at sales, you’ll find other people who are successful and do what they do. Is that freedom?

Does freedom mean having a big pile of money? Because everything you own requires that you care for it, including that big pile of money. Money, like energy, goes where it is cared for, and if you want it to stick around, you need to care for it. That’s a responsibility, not freedom.

The freest man I know meditates for days on end, fasts when Spirit asks him to fast, and moves through life following wherever Spirit asks him to move next. For a long time, he has cared for the gardens in the city park at Mt. Shasta, California. Now, however, Spirit is moving to ask him to do something else. He does what Spirit inspires him to do whenever it inspires him. Most of the time, this involves talking to people, sharing his spiritual experiences. Of course, he is not necessarily “free” by the standards you might expect. He is homeless. But I’ve never known him to go without basic necessities.

The “freedom” you seek in financial wealth may be the golden handcuffs that bind you from being really free.

Some people think that freedom comes with success. But the biggest question is, what is success to you? I have a very good friend who worked very hard for success, rose to the highest position in a Fortune 100 company in her field. After watching the Subliminal Manifestation DVD, Attracting Wealth, she realized she was pursuing her family’s idea of success… the title. Even more egregiously, she realized that success in her family meant being busy, not necessarily wealthy or happy, just busy. So she had pursued success… only to find it empty… because she hadn’t done the work to find out what success really meant to her in her conscious and unconscious patterns.

The key to becoming what you want is to really flesh out in your mind what you think you want really is to you. Freedom, success, wealth, power… these things are all charged with emotions, conscious and unconscious images and beliefs.

If you’re going to search for freedom and success, you should first find out what those words mean to you… before you start investing all of your precious time and energy into creating something that you don’t really want.

One thing that I do with people in my coaching practice is to help people discover what is behind the goal, what is behind the desire. Often, it shifts a person’s goals, the words they use to describe their goals, and the images they use to envision their success.

What people really want in life is to be happy, to feel peace, and to feel some kind of fulfillment. It’s different for each individual.

If you’re looking to discover what you really want from life, let me know.

I went to Dallas with Joe Vitale the other day.

The Rolls Royce Needed its 2000 mile service from all the Rolls Royce Masterminds Joe and I have done:-)

It was a wonderful ride and I must say the attention you get driving into a Waco Texas HEB grocery, store for a bite to eat, is pretty incredible. I have become accustomed to seeing people smile at the site of Eleanor (Joe’s Rolls Royce)… and me & Joe sitting in it.

Now granted I never get that kind of a smile in my car from a college girl in her Mercedes… but I sure get plenty of those Baylor girls looking at me and smiling in Eleanor.

Very seldom do I get a smile from any college age person… or a black person… or a Hispanic person… or an Asian in my car… but when Driving Eleanor… I get the best kind of smile from most of them.

Now Joe has other fancy cars that get looks… but nothing like the Rolls Royce Phantom.

While i was in that HEB grocery parking lot waiting for Joe (and I parked a distance away to protect the car) I had a sense that I was the flower and all the bees were looking for pollen because before long… there were people appearing outside the car door.

One really nice young man with awe in his voice asked, “Sir, can I please take a picture of your car?” I said, “Sure take all you want,” with a smile.

People were going out of their way to come by me even though I was doing my best to keep out of the way

Next visitor was a black man in a beat up car who pulled right up to my window coming from the other direction… he rolled his window down less that two feet from me and was asking me to roll down my window… I was hesitant… in my own car car and i might have driven off or gotten a little distance before rolling my window down. I hesitated because this guy looked like some of the guys I have seen in gangs… I thought… but wait a minute Mark “You’re in the Rolls… he likes the car… it is not about you.”

So I rolled down the window… smiled and nodded my head at him and asked him how he was doing.
Up comes a big five year old smile that overwhelms his “Gansta” appearance and music playing and he says in a long… slow… loving manner, “Man I sure dooooo Looove your car.”

I smiled back and said “Thank You” and he drove away.

In Dallas it was the same way. Even the people in the Mercedes… Audi’s… Escalades… old and young… beautiful and ugly… black or white or brown… Highland Park or poor sections… executives and poor folk or even the homeless… almost all smiled big at Eleanor.

This got me to thinking. You can’t help but feel in your body and heart all these people of all different possible colors, sizes and shapes, and bank accounts… were projecting this shining attention at me as well because I was sitting IN the Rolls Royce.

It wasn’t just the car that made them project their best attention… it was also the thought of WHO might be in the car. The Possibility. Either way they had a story to now tell.

It was their personal projection…their illusion… supported by Hollywood and Madison Avenue… that allowed them to set free an inner part of themselves that shone.

I understand why people in Hollywood or people with money and power get caught up in this kind of shining attention. Being on the receiving end of all that positive shining energy was incredible… seeing so many human beings at their best… shining… is… intoxicating.

One of the reasons why is that it makes the best come out of me back towards people I was not used to giving my best…or receiving it.

I have friends in the entertainment industry that say a good audience can make or break you.

I personally have been caught up in this kind of intoxication earlier in my life and learned the hard way that when the fame or power or Rolls or money goes away… so too can the attention and the people giving it… that came with it.

This time around I had my previous lesson in memory to texture the present attention I was getting.

And since I had a past experience with this type of addiction… I was able to allow myself to feel it in a different way while still enjoying it.

I started to think what kind of world this would be if we all looked at each other as if we were driving Rolls Royce cars… better yet… what if we looked at the person as the star in the Rolls Royce?

What would this world be like?

I can guess…Pretty darn good!!!

I think of all the aging actors and actresses getting plastic surgery for one more dose of the feeling of another human being looking at them as a star. So much time, money, and pain to go through for these shining attention looks from people. How we value them!

What if we ourselves could look at them as if they were still in their prime to save them that pain of surgery?

Funny thing is that we are all really stars and we put on this opaque or dark cloak and all kinds of illusions to hide from ourselves and others who it is we really are.

We are Children of the Family of the Divine…which in itself is all we really need to know.

Some say we each really are the Divine…They must not believe it fully yet:-)

Yes, I am guilty all the time of forgetting, but I must say the Rolls Royce Trip to Dallas reminded me of what is in all of us to give and receive.

No, I didn’t forget about the synchronicity.

When Joe and i dropped of Eleanor for service… I asked the Receptionist where we could go for lunch nearby. She recommended two restaurants in the same building complex. When we got there we realized she had sent us to two 5-star restaurants that were worthy of a Rolls Royce owner. We picked one and went in.

I felt a little funny as I was not only wearing shorts and white socks… tennis shoes (no one can see them when i am driving Eleanor )… and to add insult to injury… they were still wet and stained from when the lid to the coffee cup came off and lots of coffee went all over my shirt and shorts. The shirt was black, so I was safe there. But now I was getting a few different looks from my fellow diners than the looks I received when sitting in Eleanor. My, how life can change fast!

We sat down to eat with one Joe’s business partners Kevin Wilke of Nitro Marketing…who turns out to be a great guy! The meal and service were amazing.

At one point Kevin said we are dining with billionaires today. Both Joe and I looked around… and right behind me was the Billionaire Gentleman.

Funny because I started to feel like one of those people looking at the me in the Rolls Royce moments earlier. Fast perspective change again!

We finished up and went back to our hotel for a few hours rest before going out to eat for dinner with our friend Joni Patry at the restaurant she owns with her husband Daniel, Patry’s Bistro. Daniel’s father was one of the best chefs in the world when alive… and Patry’s Bistro’s carries on his tradition of Fine French Cuisine.

We went there and were meeting Chris Jenkins, a Luthier (Guitar Maker) who had just finished an exquisite, custom, rare wood handmade guitar just for Joe called the Saddle Pal.

If you are in Dallas, you MUST go. The food and service are fantastic, prices very reasonable, and Joni and Daniel will treat you incredibly well.

We all sat down to eat and one of Joni’s friends joined us. Now here is where the story gets really juicy.

Turns out this lady is also a Billionaire. It gets better…she owns the restaurant and the complex where we ate earlier that day sitting next to the first Billionaire.

She invited us to lunch at her house the next day, but were unable to make it. Maybe next time:-)

After Dinner, Joe, Chris and I borrowed Joni’s office and filmed Joe getting his first looks at his brand new saddle pal.

I will have that video up soon… and I will have more thoughts on the Billionaire Synchonicity if you are interested.

Let me know if you are.

Have a great day and smile at someone today like they are in a Rolls Royce. Smile at them as if they are a Billionaire. See what happens.
