So many open loops! I also miss your podcasts. You just gave me a whole new appreciation for Inception that I hadn't even considered. I think I missed the whole point of the movie till I heard you talk about it!

Lots of questions here, leading to lots of answers. Not sure I can hit all of them in a blog post, and some of your questions inspire blog posts of their own.

1. In hypnotic language, the communication is very open so that the subject fills in details of the experience from their own unconscious, which includes memories and imagination. If you rely too heavily on your old data, you end up manifesting from a limited, rather than inspired experience. I'll have more here soon to expand on this.

2. I am not sure if they are using a ho'oponopono reference, but it is very interesting. The cords - or pipes - between us are the elements that require cleaning in Dr. Hew Len's version of ho'oponopono while other versions talk about cutting and reattaching cords between individuals.

3. This is a complex subject, but I will answer more soon.

4. This is the million dollar question, and there are billions of possible answers. We are all part of the Divine All That Is, we are all one. But here I am typing on a computer over here, and you're reading my writing over there. And vice versa. We intersect, and we influence each other, yet we are separate. At the very least, my perceptions and filters affect who I think you are. If I think you have an injury for example because you told me about it, that data is now in my consciousness and it is a part of me. So I clean on that data... the data that is within me that is also within the "pipes" of connection between us.

Some people say that you're just a figment of my imagination, and I am the same to you... the whole "subjective reality" theorem. I think it is a heck of a lot more complex than that, and to oversimplify the connections and technology of cooperation limits us in full exploration of our experience in this reality.

Lots more coming on this, too.

Thank you Petere, for your comment and questions, they help spur further thinking and creativity.

Mark,

Thanks for the recommendation for the movie, it has only been in the cinemas in Australia for a short time, so it was great to view it on the big screen. I was blown away by it. I had the sence of I know this, I feel this. Definity a movie that asks alot more questions.

I have a few questions that I am having a hard time getting around from the movie, could you or others put your thoughts on it.
1. "You can't create a new reality with old memories, that includes the location, 5 sences". Under the banner of meditation, visulization, mindmovies. You create an image of what your want, how you want an outcome to realise. For me all of the people are real, the settings are what I know. I visualize daily but I do use past memories to change outcomes. Is this the right approach.

2. The use of the cords, linking everyone one together is that a Ho'oponopono reference, when they release is that what is meant, by cutting the cords.

3. Layers of the subconscious I found this part the most confusing. Mark in your podcast you made reference to the self help industry where some people only do a superfisual fix. Do you mean that it only goes down one layer, and that is not enough layers to make long term change. I think there is more than just one safe within the subconscious, or rather than a safe (locked box) they are doors that take you deeper down the layers. Different doors to different areas of your life.

4. My view on how we we come into other peoples reality, is via same thoughts/ vibration. In the movie it seemed people came in and out of "Cobbs" world only for one purpose and that was to send a message, the only thoughts/ emotions that meant anything to hime was locked away in his subconscious. This is what alot of the Ho'oponopono teachings is there is nothing outthere its all within you? So if thats the case why I am I writing this?

Finally, thanks for your honestity, down to earth approach in your podcast, your words resonate within me, you are definity on your life's path. And head and shoulders apart from the "Newwage" industry.

I agree Mark Inception really was amazing. There was a lot of NLP/Hypnosis in the movie that made my heart and soul sing. I went to see it last week in Florida while I attended my annual National Speakers Association Convention. It was worth my time.

I am just learning about NLP and (want to learn deeper).

I cannot wait to listen to the podcast as Inception definitely breaks new ground in delving into the subconscious. I do believe they took the foundation from the movie Dreamscape with Dennis Quaid back in 1982 though and of course expanded on it...
